Psych Carni break into an abandoned factory to record atmospheres for the upcoming album.

Armed with a generator, PA and a laptop of samples, the band wanted to capture the essence of crumbling, industrial decay.

Psych Carni’s Producer-Livewire wanted to get away from the sound of  clean, digital samples and record guerrilla style on location.

He has done this before with Film Soundtracks and the technique was widely used in the past by artists such as Einsturzende Neubauten and Depeche Mode.

“Psych Carni howl a maelstrom of synthetic suffering……

I can’t help but root for the underdog…… all I can tell you with a mini-ampule of authority is I quite like their songs and the way they do them.”

David Thrussell.
(Snog, Black Lung, Soma)

“Psych Carni’s “Scanner Darkly” EP is so raw and brutal…It’s REAL++ industrial….really enjoy it.”
